You will know exactly who is on your job

Most builders you ring are one bloke with a list of mates. The bricklayers are a different number, the groundworkers are a different number, the internals are a different guy. None of it is under one umbrella. Ours is.

You pay at the end of each week, for the work done that week

You get a week-by-week schedule of works before we start, so you know what is happening and when. Then a small deposit to get going, and after that you pay at the end of each week for what has actually been finished.

How a job actually runs

No surprises, because you can see each stage coming.

You ring, or send the form

Tell us roughly what you are after. If you do not know whether it is an extension or a knock through yet, say so. Most people do not, and that is what the first conversation is for.
We are at your door the same week

Often the same day. Free, and there is nothing to sign. We walk round, talk through what is possible, and whether you need architect’s drawings before we can price it properly.
You get a fixed written quote

Itemised, so you can see what each part of the job costs rather than one number at the bottom. If it is not right for us, we will tell you that too.
We start, usually within five weeks

One team from foundations through brickwork, roof, internals and finishing. You get the week-by-week schedule before anyone turns up.
Sign off, and after

Building control sign off done properly and the certificates handed over, so it stands up when you come to sell. Then we are still on the end of the same phone.

The things people are actually worried about

Nobody rings a builder worried about brick bonds. This is what they ask us.

“Will you still be here next month?”

You pay weekly for work already finished, so at no point are we holding money for something that does not exist yet. It is the simplest protection there is.

“Who do I ring when something goes wrong?”
